A frantic search began on Twitter on Friday to find the owner of a lonely stuffed bunny left behind on a Sydney train.

Andrew Parker tweeted a photo of the stuffed rabbit after he reportedly saw it fall from the child's pram just as the train doors closed at Wynyard Station.
@ajamesparker Hi Andrew. Can you let us know what service you were on and what carriage you were in? We'll see what we can do.— T1 Sydney Trains (@T1SydneyTrains) May 19, 2017
As soon as Sydney Trains got involved, people wanted answers.
After over a thousand retweets, including one from Opposition Leader Bill Shorten, a man claiming to be the father of the sad bunny's owner -- Terrence Zhong -- joined in on the conversation (seriously, you can't make this stuff up).
On Saturday morning, Sydney Trains provided Twitter users with a much-anticipated update, sharing a few heartwarming pictures from the reunion.
And just like that, Sad Bunny became Happy Bunny once again.
