The wonderful thing about crumble -- aside from being an easy, delicious dessert -- is how versatile it is. As long as you've got oats, some type of fruit, cinnamon and sugar at home, you can make a crumble. A damn fine one, too.

Just imagine: the golden, buttery crumble, the syrupy fruit, the crunch... and then the ice cream on top which slowly melts into the crumble.

You can also make crumble as healthy or not-so-healthy as you want. Cutting down on sugar? Just use fruit to sweeten. Can't have butter? Use olive or coconut oil instead. You really can't mess it up.
