Police hope a K-pop boy band t-shirt could help identify the body of a man found in a wheelie bin in Melbourne's north over the weekend.
A garbage truck operator made the discovery while emptying the wheelie bin in Preston on Saturday morning.
A local resident had earlier called the Darebin City Council to notify them of an abandoned bin, which was not from the local council, the Herald Sun reports. Normal bin day for the suburb is Monday.
"As the truck was emptying a wheelie bin into the truck, he's observed what appeared to be a body," Detective Sergeant Mark Butterworth said.
"The driver is quite distressed."
Police are yet to identify the body.
The man was found wearing blue-grey tracksuit pants and the distinctive white T-shirt -- which was soaked in blood when his body was removed from the bin, according to The Age.
The shirt features a motif of the Korean band Big Bang's 2015 world tour, including a hot rod and the five band members.
Police describe the man as aged mid-40s, of Caucasian appearance, 171cm tall with dark hair and an unshaven face.
They are treating the man's death as suspicious, and urge anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
