Watch This Baby Take Her First Steps Just Minutes After Birth

She's going places, that's for sure.

This newborn baby surprised nurses and smashed a number of developmental goals early when she started walking just minutes after she was born.

The staff at a Brazilian women's hospital intended on giving the baby girl her first bath, but she had other ideas.

The newborn was up on her tiny feet and headed off on what looks like an epic adventure. The hospital staff were astounded by the child's determination and perseverance to get walking, calling nurses from other rooms to witness the baby's first steps.

It generally takes newborn babies about 12-months to take their first steps, after they have learned to crawl, and can sit up. With a kid like this one however, baby characters like Stewie from Family Guy or Jack Jack from The Incredibles really don't seem that far fetched anymore.
