Molotov Cocktail Thrown Into A Paris Restaurant, 12 Injured

Three people were reportedly flown to hospital suffering serious burns.

A molotov cocktail has been thrown into a Paris restaurant injuring 12 people.

Three people were reportedly flown to hospital suffering serious burns following the incident that occurred at around 8.30pm local time.

Six police officers have also allegedly been injured in their attempt to assist the evacuation of diners, who were forced to flee the restaurant as flames engulfed the five-story building, French media report.

The incident was launched on a restaurant in Aubervillers, a north-eastern suburb of the French capital and is reportedly part of an attempted robbery. The robbery is not being treated as a terror attack.

The full extent of the damage is yet to be assessed by French Police.
