Things might be looking a little hazy for these ladies on the Sunny Coast on Sunday.

A pre-season prediction made by netball team Sunshine Coast Lightning's CEO has come true.

Lightning CEO Danielle Smith suggested the debutant club could take out the Super Netball title in their first attempt.

With a flick of the wrist (or 65 flicks of the wrists), the Sunshine Coast's first national elite sporting team has won the Suncorp Super Netball grand final in a 65 - 48 win against GWS Giants.

It's no surprise SC Lightning scored the win with goal shooter Caitlin Bassett earning a shooting accuracy percentage around 94 percent.

LIGHTNING!!! What a well deserved win. So stoked especially for @CBassNetball who deserves 1st premiership and my MVP goes to @GevaMentor
