PR Maven Roxy Jacenko Greets Husband Oliver Curtis On Release From Jail

Investment banker Oliver Curtis has been released from Cooma Correctional Centre after serving a sentence for insider trading, looking rather surprised to see a large contingent of media waiting to greet him.

He was expected to make a statement to the media, but at the last minute had a change of heart and made his way towards a black Range Rover, with tinted windows.

He was taken to nearby Cooma-Snowy Mountains airport where his wife Roxy Jacenko and their children have apparently been waiting for him.

The children, five-year-old Pixie and three-year-old Hunter, had been told their father was away in China for a year on a business trip.

Curtis spent a year behind bars for his part in an insider trading conspiracy with a former school friend John Hartman -- together the men made about $1.4million which was used to prop up their lavish lifestyle, including luxury vehicles, international rental accommodation and ski trips.

Hartman spent 15 months in prison for insider trading, striking a deal with prosecutors by revealing Curtis' involvement in the conspiracy. Hartman testified against his former friend during Curtis trial last year.

It was during the trial that Jacenko was widely criticised for turning up to her husband's court appearances in her designer clothing, and posting each day's outfit on her social media.
