Watch: How To Make Parmesan-Crusted Brussels Sprouts

Hate brussels sprouts? These will change your mind.

Brussels sprouts have to be the most-hated vegetable out there. This is most likely due to the fact that our parents and grandparents boiled them until they met their grey, soggy death.

Most of us also don't know how to cook brussels sprouts properly. The first and main tip to make brussels sprouts taste better: don't boil them. Ever. Just don't let them enter a body of water. Instead, lightly sauté or bake them.

The next step to make brussels sprouts truly taste good (yes, it's possible) is to cook them with lots of flavour, whether it be garlic, chilli flakes, lemon juice, butter or cheese.

Take this recipe for Parmesan-crusted brussels sprouts with a Caesar dressing dip. The cheesy morsels are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

To make them, all you need to do is toss the brussels sprouts in flour, dunk them in beaten eggs and finally coat them in the Parmesan bread crumb mixture, flavoured with garlic powder, cayenne and salt. Bake until golden and serve with a Caesar dip.
