Watch: Try These Easy Caramel-Stuffed Blondies

You only need 10 ingredients and 45 minutes.

If you've never tried or heard of blondies, and you're wondering why a dessert sounds like a hair colour, here's an explanation: blondies are the opposite of brownies. Geddit?

Instead of a chocolate base, blondies are vanilla-based and are filled with delicious ingredients like chocolate chips, white chocolate, macadamia nuts and caramel.

Enter this recipe for blondies stuffed with caramel chocolates, which are baked until golden and finished with generous drizzles of caramel and melted chocolate.

To make these caramel chocolate-stuffed blondies, start by making the blondie base with butter, sugar, eggs, flour and vanilla. Then it's time to transfer the blondie mixture to a baking pan and place the caramel chocolates (try Nestle Rolo, Lindt Caramel Pieces or Cardbury Caramels) into the batter, and bake.

Once the blondies have cooked, allow the pan to cool before drizzling with caramel and melted chocolate.
