December is almost upon us, looming over us like the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, bringing threats of a lot of family bonding time.
While your Aunt Carol asks advice on how to make the text bigger on her phone and your Uncle Joe tries to send you a LinkedIn request, there's a lot of good distractions on Netflix and Stan.
For fans of Texas, American football and big hairstyles, Stan is adding all five seasons of 'Friday Night Lights' early in the month. That joins returning series like 'Wolf Creek' and 'Travelers' on Netflix, both coming back for a second series.
December 8 also brings the return of the Queen herself in the second season of 'The Crown', Netflix's incredible historic drama that follows the royal family.
On top of all that both Netflix and Stan are adding a handful of Christmas movies to get you into the festive spirit so turn the volume up and dig into some Christmas pudding.
