Christine Anu is one of Australia’s most acclaimed entertainers. A multi-award winning recording artist, Christine has made widely acclaimed appearances in major films including Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge, The Matrix Reloaded and Dating the Enemy. Christine has also starred in many stage productions, including Hairspray: The Arena Spectacular, South Pacific, The Sapphires, Little Shop of Horrors, Rent, Rainbow’s End and Parramatta Girls. She has performed at momentous events in Australia, including the Sydney 2000 Olympics Closing Ceremony, and was bestowed the honour of flicking the switch to launch National Indigenous Television. Christine has performed for world leaders, royalty and represented Australian across the globe promoting our culturally rich history, music and art. She is also a patron and ambassador for numerous charitable organisations and advocates for diversity and inclusion in the Australian Entertainment Industry. Christine is currently hosting the new national Friday and Saturday evening shows on ABC Local Radio.
