Kesha's crusade to secure a release from the terms of a contract that binds her to a man who she alleges sexually assaulted her may have been unsuccessful in this round, but it has done more to expose the dark underbelly of the music industry than I think we can yet fully comprehend.
Revenge porn, or the posting of intimate photographs to shame, humiliate and threaten their subjects, is on the rise. Particularly cruel ex-partners can now share photographs sent to them privately during a relationship, and ever-resourceful hackers have found ways to obtain the most private of images.
