Beyoncé Strips Down For Poolside Flaunt Magazine Cover Shoot

She still didn't say anything, though.

Leave it to Beyoncé to be crowned the queen of a new kingdom without even saying a word.

For its latest issue, Flaunt magazine built a new land, Califuk (California plus the U.K.), and appointed Bey to be its leader. Califuk, as the mag puts it, is "a movement" about "place-making and cultured fissure. And abandon. And intimacy. And her."

To commemorate the announcement, the megastar posed for a sexy poolside photoshoot, naturally. She's also on the cover, smizing like a pro.

The former Destiny's Child frontwoman (Was it ever really a group at all?) channels FKA Twigs in one shot, which sees her holding her chest while lying in the water. In another photo, she's seemingly defying gravity. Because not only is she royalty, she's also superhuman, and the rules of physics simply do not apply to her.

In keeping with her "seen but not heard" media philosophy, the diva didn't grant the mag an actual interview. (She may be their queen, but even they weren't worthy.) Bey did, however, humor the mag by playing a word association game. The result is a word web that offers a tiny glimpse into the mind of the untouchable star.

The key takeaways are as follows: The word "iconic" is overused (everyone who dreams of interviewing Ms. Carter, take note), Blue Ivy Carter is her definition of confidence and she has a hair closet (!!!) that is overpopulated.
