Donald Trump Climbs Wall To Avoid Protests At California GOP Convention

Maybe walls don't work?

Donald Trump got a small dose of his own medicine on Friday when he had to cross over a wall to avoid large protests at the California Republican convention in suburban San Francisco.

Faced with a large crowd of demonstrators who'd broken past police barriers outside the Hyatt Regency hotel in Burlingame, Trump and his retinue were seen hopping over a highway median to enter through a back door.

"It felt like I was crossing the border, actually," Trump said at the start of his speech, according to Politico.

Trump exited the hotel in the same way, hopping up and over the barrier to return to his motorcade.

We can only assume the GOP presidential front-runner is practicing for a future when he becomes president and forces Mexico to pay for that wall he's talked so much about.

Editor's note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims -- 1.6 billion members of an entire religion -- from entering the U.S.
