Hilarious Moms Lament Never Being In Family Photos

Sounds about right.

In 2012, HuffPost blogger Allison Slater Tate issued a simple command with her powerful essay, “The Mom Stays in the Picture,” and started a movement asking moms to include themselves in photos of their kids. But still so often, moms realize they aren’t in any family photos ― not necessarily because of body image struggles but because they’re the only ones taking pictures.

In the newest video from The BreakWomb, the funny ladies lament this parenting phenomenon that so many moms know all too well. It’s three hilarious minutes of “here’s half of my shadow,” “you can see my hair blowing into this picture” and “here’s my daughter laughing at something I said, so my words are in this picture.”

And let’s not forget about the terribly framed selfie attempts.
