Clinton Reacts To Muslim Vet's Fears By Shutting Down GOP 2016ers

"One of the most disturbing aspects of this campaign has been the language of Republican candidates, particularly their frontrunner."

Hillary Clinton delivered a fiery response to a Muslim veteran's question about Islamophobia in the United States.

At last night's Democratic Presidential Town Hall in Iowa, Air Force veteran Erum Tariq-Munir asked the former secretary of state about the future of the U.S. in light of the recent rise of attacks on Muslims.

"As a mother of three young children, as an American Muslim, how can I make sure that this country is the best place on earth to raise my family?" Tariq-Munir asked.

Clinton responded by lashing out at the Republican presidential candidates for their use of anti-Muslim rhetoric.

"One of the most disturbing aspects of this campaign has been the language of Republican candidates, particularly their frontrunner, that insults, demeans, denigrates different people," Clinton said. "I found it particularly harmful the way [Trump] has talked about Muslims."

"It's not only shameful and harmful to our values, it's dangerous," she added. "We cannot tolerate this."

Last month, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump proposed that the U.S. ban all Muslims -- even citizens -- from entering the country.
