Hugh Jackman shared a throwback photo Thursday on Instagram and it’s basically proof that the actor has always been handsome.

The 47-year-old captioned the cute black-and-white pic “Once upon a time!” and it’s already gained over 170k likes. Some commenters said the photo of the young actor reminded them of Clint Eastwood.

Other fans were quick to point out the actor’s timeless looks, saying “Hey you’ve never gotten old!!! Always as handsome as hell,” while others agreed Jackman’s looks had only gotten “better with age.”

The Aussie often shares #TBT photos on his social media account, giving fans some insight into his younger years before he became super famous.

A few months ago, the actor even offered up a recommendation for the weekly Instagram tradition in a caption, suggesting that “Throwback Thursday should be renamed The Awkward Years.”

But from his many pictures, it doesn’t look like Jackman ever had an awkward year in his life!
