Prince William Explains How 'Weirdly' Fatherhood Has Changed Him

File this under: Awwwwww.

We're used to swooning over photos of Prince William, his wife Kate the Duchess of Cambridge and their adorable brood. It's less often we hear them actually talking about said adorable brood.

In a preview for a new documentary about Prince Charles' charity for young young people, called "When Ant and Dec Met The Prince: 40 Years of the Prince's Trust," Prince William opened up to the British comedy duo about how fatherhood has made him a more emotional person, "weirdly," who wells up "a bit more" over "the smallest little things."

"You get affected by the sort of things that happen around the world a lot more I think as a father, just because you realize how precious life is,and it puts it all in perspective, you know the idea of not seeing your children grow up," he said.

Anyone else having visuals of William tearing up over a cute cat video? We've got Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 8 months, to thank for that.

The documentary airs Monday night in the United Kingdom; but you can watch the preview clips at the BBC.
