When it comes to birthdays, Reese Witherspoon does not mess around.

The actress, who turns 40 on March 22, started the celebrations early with a star-studded bash at the Warwick in Hollywood, California, over the weekend.

According to People, the party was filled with A-listers like Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux, Courteney Cox, Matthew McConaughey, Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban and Kate Hudson, who shared a photo collage of the night's festivities on Instagram.

Taylor Swift also took part in the celebrations and performed her hit "Shake It Off" with Urban.

The birthday girl even got up onstage herself to sing along to "Sweet Home Alabama." As the actress's friend Derek Blasberg wrote alongside an Instagram video of the moment, "You can take the girl out the South, but you can't take Sweet Home Alabama out the girl!"

Witherspoon's mom was also at the party, and she vowed to get crazy on the dance floor with her daughter.
