Watch Sarah Jessica Parker's Style Evolution, From Massive Hair To Manolos

The "Sex and the City" actress has gone through so many style phases.

It’s hard to imagine a time before Carrie Bradshaw. It seems just about everyone blurs the lines between Sarah Jessica Parker and her sartorially iconic “Sex and the City” character.

But before there was Mr. Big and Manolo Blahnik, there were gold bra tops, slinky dresses and yes, even the occasional fashion flop. In the late ’80s, SJP was all about her big hair, which paired effortlessly with the decade’s oversized silhouettes. Into the ’90s, the star continued playing around with her style, but mostly kept things pretty safe. It wasn’t until the later half of the ’00s that the now-shoe designer really transformed into the fashionista we know today. Since then, she’s never shied away from a bold color, print, silhouette or accessory, and for that, we love her.

In honor of Bradshaw ... er ... Parker’s 54th birthday on Monday, we’ve gone back in the vault to uncover her complete style evolution from the beginning to today.

Feast your eyes on years of style ― and hair ― of epic proportions.
