First comes the Facebook request, and then come texts, as far as grandparents are concerned. If you haven't noticed already, older people are becoming quite tech-savvy these days.
They can tweet, blog, and selfie as well as the best of 'em. At 85, Rex Redstone created quite a buzz with his selfies and some say he's the oldest Instagrammer -- and he probably has more followers than you. Last week, former president Jimmy Carter, 89, sent his first text message. And he's not alone.
