Unbelievable dashcam footage shows an Illinois woman driving down the street with a 15-foot tree lodged in her car's front grille.
Roselle police officers pulled over Maryann Christy at 11:10 p.m. on Jan. 23 after receiving reports of her unusual hood accessory from other horrified drivers.
The 54-year-old woman from the nearby suburb of Schaumburg claimed she'd driven a few miles and "didn't remember where" she'd hit the tree, the Chicago Tribune reported. The airbags on Christy's 2004 Lincoln were also deployed.
Roselle Police Department posted the video to Facebook on Monday, and it's going viral.
Officers said the suspect smelled of alcohol and failed a sobriety test. Christy was arrested for driving under the influence and is scheduled to appear in court in April.
"Yet another reason why you should not drink and drive!" the department added on another Facebook post.
