The house was kind of in the middle of the island, very dark, and nothing else around. He had told me he had other people working there, that he had a partner. When we got there, there was no one at all. At that point alarm bells started ringing.
Backpackers clean the buildings where you work and shop. They live in your neighbourhood, and your job may have been created by them. They could become your neighbours and co-workers in the long run. Is it then morally justifiable to treat them differently because they cannot vote?
They want to see the fruits of their labour.
