When I was first told I had to have my ball removed, I didn't really know what to think. Would it impact my sex life? Would I still be able to have children? Would others judge me? Would I be less of a man?

Maybe someone will read this and be able to give me those man-things I crave -- a special handshake and an awesome nickname. Or we could just hide our feelings away and talk about sport, women and motorbikes while we awkwardly sip beer. Whatever.
The world has changed and so must our definition of what it is to be a man. The issue of masculinity is not a gender specific issue; it's one that has huge implications for both men and women.
