Powerful Video Of Grandmothers Reflecting Will Make You Think

Grandmotherly Wisdom: Lose The To-Do List For A To-Don't List

Did you know that women aged between 18 and 29 have the lowest level of wellbeing of any group of Australian women? It's put down to a perceived lack of time, financial worries and work issues. And not only that, but the success and happiness they experience in other parts of their lives fails to offset this anxiety.

This information -- and more -- was observed in The National Australia Bank's inaugural personal wellbeing index, released in July.

Moreover, the latest Roy Morgan wellbeing index -- released in June -- showed that although wellbeing among all age groups and sexes was down since the first report came out in 2007, it was young women aged 18 to 24 who were faring the worst.

It's timely then that on Wednesday UK beauty brand Sanctuary Spa launched a new campaign aimed at inspiring women to #LetGo - to escape the "cult of never good enough".

A study by the brand found that despite not celebrating their own achievements, women are quick to congratulate others they see achieving. The majority (88 percent) of British women will congratulate a colleague on a job well done, but only one in ten would do the same for themselves. 46 percent of women think their colleagues achieve more than they do.

The campaign video below features grandmothers reflecting on what they would have done differently -- with one woman poignantly stating, “If I had my time again I wouldn't create a to-do list, I’d create to-don't do list.”

Powerful stuff.
