Footy seldom looks as glamorous as the red carpet of the Brownlow medals. Players and WAGs alike strutted their stuff at Melbourne Crown Casino on Monday night, with a range of fashion trends on display.

Rebecca Judd shimmered in a golden J’aton gown, while Nadia Bartel absolutely rocked her baby bump in a custom made Paolo Sebastian number.

As is generally the case with the Brownlows, there was plenty of skin on display. Marc Murphy's fiancee Jessie Habermann opted for a backless white lace by designer Oglia Lora, while model Britt Nicholas dared to bare in a plunging red gown by aelkemi.

Notably absent from the night were Jesinta Campbell and Buddy Franklin, though Campbell took to Twitter to wish the other WAGs well.

The famous couple are taking time away from the spotlight to deal with Franklin's mental health issues.

In Sydney, more football stars and their partners hit the red carpet for the Dally M Awards. See our slideshow below for looks of the night.
