Lawyers representing the estate of late singer Bobbi Kristina Brown have accused boyfriend Nick Gordon of injecting her with a “toxic mixture” before her death.
According to court documents filed in Georgia, the couple had a "violent altercation" after which Mr Gordon injected her with the mixture and left her unconscious in a bath tub of cold water, WSB-TV reports.
Mr Gordon has been accused of foul play by Brown's family in wrongful death lawsuit but a "toxic cocktail" had not been previously mentioned.
The filing states Brown died "after a particularly violent altercation with the Defendant (Gordon) which left her battered and bruised, with a tooth knocked out".
He is also accused of trying to cover up the fight by changing his clothing after the incident.
Also in the documents is accusations Mr Gordon received US$40,000 from a magazine which took photos of him at Brown's grave.
Brown, the daughter of late showbiz icon Whitney Houston, was found unresponsive in a bathtub on January 21 of this year in her townhouse in Atlanta.
She never regained consciousness and died in a hospice on July 26.
