Girl Screams After Missing Out On Socceroo James Meredith's Shirt After 3-0 Win Over Kyrgyzstan

This Girl Screaming When She Missed Out On Socceroo's Shirt Is Everything

Kyrgyzstan weren't the only ones dealt a crushing blow by the Socceroos in Canberra on Thursday night.

An extremely enthusiastic young fan stood in waiting at the barrier to the field as James Meredith greeted the crowd after Australia's 3-0 World Cup qualifying win.

But her joy quickly turned to dismay -- no, devastation -- as Meredith removed his jersey and handed it to another spectator.

It's the kind of tantrum you throw when you download 97 percent of the new Game of Thrones episode and iTunes drops an error message-bomb on you -- or log on early to book Justin Bieber tickets and cop the Spinning Wheel of Death.

Whether the fan is a GoThroner/Belieber is at this point unclear; what we do know is that she was deadset next-level spewing to miss out on this piece of memorabilia.

Meredith is reported to have given the jersey to a relative who'd come to see his first start for the Socceroos.

That's fair enough; this isn't one of those adults-steals-game-ball-from-the-clutches-of-innocent child moments you often see in American baseball.

We feel for her. And she has a pretty long while to wait for the Socceroos' next home match -- against Tajikstan in March -- when she can have another crack. But if she's this filthy at missing out on Meredith's cloth, then we're willing to bet she's counting down every one of those 133 days.
