Australian Test opener David Warner is at a special point in his career: he's starting to look unimpressed by his own ability.
Warner struck his third Test century in a row on Friday when he belted New Zealand around the WACA in Perth on the opening day of the second Test.
When Steve Smith won the toss and sent the unstoppable Warner in to bat, you could almost hear the four-letter words running through Black Caps skipper Brendon McCullum's head.
It was just another field day for Warner. He brought up his 15th Test ton in a lazy 115 balls. No big deal.
In doing so he joined a very elite list of players to belt three hundreds in a row -- alongside the likes of Sunil Gavaskar and Kumar Sangakarra.
The left-hander is more than in the zone right now; he is the zone.
