Anna Paquin Stands Up To Body Shamers With A Single Tweet

Take that, haters.

Anna Paquin doesn't have time for body shaming nonsense.

The actress attended the Hollywood premiere of her new film "The Good Dinosaur" on Tuesday night looking glamorous as ever in an embroidered dress with a full skirt. However, it seems not everyone felt the same way about her ensemble.

The Oscar-winner shared an image on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, calling out all the people who felt the need to comment on the appearance of her body in the dress.

"Fun fact: Wearing a dress that is not skintight=Pregnant/invites people 2 call u fat. I'm neither so thanks 4 that," she wrote, along with a photo of her and her husband at the premiere.

Pregnant? Fat? We don’t see it.

Paquin has spoken about body image issues in the past, telling Shape back in 2010, "Its one of those things that’s instilled in you, that it’d be really unfortunate for you to not fit the sample size. I think that's a shame."

"If you’re not in shape and you don’t look a certain way you might not get the parts you want," she continued. "If the character is written as hot and fit, yeah, of course you feel some pressure to make sure you look that way, whether that’s right or wrong. I wish it wasn’t an aspect of the job, but I’d be lying if I said it isn’t something I think about."
