Christmas DIY Fails To Make You Laugh Out Loud

When it comes to Christmas, the conundrum of expectation versus reality couldn’t be played out more hilariously. And if you’re celebrating the festivities in Australia, well, you’re in for even more of a ride.

From liquefying pavlova and collapsing gingerbread to literally giving up on the roast due to your kitchen becoming a sweat box, Christmas Down Under is a rare and fascinating experience.

With the final countdown upon us, unashamed enthusiasts are sharing their failed DIY attempts inspired by recipes and craft ideas online using hashtags like #ChristmasFail, #AussieChristmas and #PinterestFail proving that at-home projects don’t always turn out like the picture.

Keeping with the festive spirit it doesn’t appear their blunders are getting them down, but rather only adding to the Christmas cheer. But it doesn't stop there -- parents are making light of the very real disdain some kids actually have for the man in the red suit by tagging their not-so-happy pics with #SantaFail -- creating sensational throwback material for their child's 21st birthday and excellent amusement for us.

Take a squiz and prepare for laugh-out-loud entertainment.
