It’s been a big week for J.K. Rowling who confirmed on Thursday there would be an eighth Harry Potter book (in script form) on its way, effectively sending the internet into meltdown and leaving fans everywhere changed forever.
But it was a particular tweet that saw the author’s feed take on a change of pace among all of the #CursedChild noise.
Rowling tweeted a heartwarming response to a fan who confided in her about her struggle with anxiety.
“I'm a Gryffindor but my anxiety keeps me from being a true Gryffindor a lot recently. Am I still a Gryffindor despite that?” the fan wrote.
To which Rowling tweeted back, “Of course. Being anxious isn't who you are, it's something you're feeling. It will pass. #GryffindorStrong.”
Just magic.
