Rebel Wilson Is The Biggest Piss-Taker With Controversial BAFTAs Speech

Watch Rebel Wilson's Hilarious Exchange With Idris Elba At The BAFTAs

It doesn’t take much for Rebel Wilson to have us in stitches with her outrageous and often politically incorrect jokes -- and her BAFTAs speech on Sunday night was no exception.

Presenting the Best Supporting Actor Award, the Pitch Perfect actress highlighted the lack of diversity during award season before poking fun at gendered and racial stereotypes.

"I have never been invited to the Oscars because, as you know, they are racist.”

"But BAFTA has diverse members and that's all we want to see in life isn't it -- diverse members,” Wilson said.

Referencing The Danish Girl, she announced, "One day I hope to return here to win a BAFTA. I have already been practising my transgender face".

Wilson quickly turned the attention away from her, telling the audience how attractive the men nominated for Best Support Actor were (because, important).

"Five really attractive men have been nominated and I really look forward to congratulating the winner. Although I'm looking forward even more to consoling the four losers," Wilson said.

But the most controversial part? When Wilson quite literally hit on nominated actor Idris Elba while simultaneously living up to society’s gendered stereotype of women -- fittingly on Valentine’s Day.

"Sorry Idris Elba you're making me a bit nervous,” Wilson joked.

"I'm just sociologically programmed to want chocolate on Valentine's Day."

The crowd roared with laughter as the camera panned to Elba, clearly not offended and struggling to keep it together.
