If you're a fan of Kitchen Cabinet and a 7:30 Report viewer too, boy, do we have some good news for your Thursday.

Two of Australia's most respected journalists Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales have joined forces to host their own TV show for the time-poor, reviewing all things cultural.

The program, When I Get A Minute, will bring viewers "occasionally shambolic conversation about books, movies, TV shows, cooking and other cultural obsessions" according to a statement released by the ABC on Thursday.

Both women juggle media careers with motherhood -- Crabb penned a gamechanging novel about this in 2014 which you can read more about here -- so there's no doubt the pair have mastered the art of shambolic, often interrupted conversation.

And to do the show's title justice, the program will air for just 15 minutes every Friday for eight weeks.

If you're busy on Friday, no need to worry. It's airing exclusively on the ABC's iView, so you can watch it whenever time allows.

While Sales and Crabb are two of the most prominent commentators and interrogators in politics -- even if Crabb's interrogation comes with cake -- the pair both love good books, great television (including the trashy kind) and Sales is a huge fan of musicals.

Many of their fans have got to know this side of Crabb and Sales by listening to their joint podcast Chat 10 Looks 3 but for those who haven't, now you can. When you get a minute.
