Chris Harrison, why'd you have to go and make things so complicated?

During Monday night's "The Bachelor: Women Tell All" special, the dating show's host had a one-on-one sit-down with former contestant Jubilee Sharpe. During their chat, Sharpe told Harrison, "Ben was everything that I thought he was. You know, he didn't see me and my complicated past as a huge obstacle."

Harrison heard the word "complicated" and ran with it, using it to refer to Sharpe two more times during their conversation. (Yes, Sharpe used the word first, but she was referring to her past, not herself.)

"I know you can't control how complicated you are," he said to Sharpe, later adding, "You might be complicated, and I know you stir the pot sometimes, but I hope you realize you're a pretty special woman, and I really appreciate you coming here and opening up the way you did."

When comedian Amy Schumer saw the show, she called out the host on Twitter for his use of the word and to stick up for Sharpe.

"There is nothing wrong with 'complicated' women Chris Harrison," the "Trainwreck" star wrote. "You treated it like something she should fight. A women shouldn't try to be less complicated so as to hopefully attract a man."

"Come on bro," she added. "She is smart and strong and a sergeant in the military. She lost her entire family and you say she must fight off being complicated."

Harrison later responded to Schumer on Twitter, and the two engaged in a lighthearted conversation. They may or may not have fallen in love by the end of it.

"I'm 82% sure I said and supported all these points as well," Harrison wrote to Schumer, who replied, "I'm down to talk about it if you are."

She added, "love you boo boo but had to make the correction for any brainwashed gals thinking hey need to be uncomplicated to be lovable."

Amy Schumer, just keeping Chris Harrison in check.
