Before the lip kits, Ferraris, Snapchats and Tyga, Kylie Kristen Jenner was just a preteen living life to the fullest at a Gwen Stefani concert.
The youngest Jenner recently shared a throwback post on her website about that one time she sang on stage with Gwen Stefani. In 2005, Stefani was in her "Hollaback" heyday, touring around the country with her smash album "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." Kylie was one of the lucky few in the audience to be invited on stage to close out the concert, and made the most out her time in the spotlight. Duh. She wrote:
My first concert ever was Gwen Stefani in 2005! During the B-A-N-A-N-A-S part of "Hollaback Girl," she brought a bunch of girls onstage to sing with her. One of her backup dancers put me on his shoulders and then Gwen put the mic in front of me to sing. I was so little! But it was so cool because it ended up going on Gwen's concert DVD, "Harajuku Lovers Live."
At the end of the video below, Kylie enthusiastically appears onstage on the shoulders of a dancer (at the 4:11 mark) to deliver her best "I ain't no hollaback girl."
Kylie's performance is all right, but nothing will ever touch older sister Kim's severely underrated single, "Jam."
We did, Kim. We did.
