Amy Schumer Thinks Her Fame Will Fade In About Six Months

According to Schumer, being famous "really blows."

Beloved and slightly overexposed comedian Amy Schumer knows that you're sick of her, OK?

After writing and starring in a hit movie, producing an HBO comedy special, walking every red carpet, finding love with boyfriend Ben Hanisch and becoming friends with Jennifer Lawrence (also in the running for "Most Overexposed Celebrity"), Schumer is officially everywhere.

At the Comedy Central upfront presentation in New York City on Thursday, she joked about her new level of fame and when she thinks it'll end.

"Do you guys know that I'm really famous now? I think it's gonna last another six months," Schumer said, according to USA Today. "Obviously, I've got behavioral issues. I didn't know what being famous would be like. You can imagine, and then it actually really blows."

Schumer's mock outrage continued, "You're like, 'Boo-hoo,' and yes, I'm very rich now. Very rich. But now, I get to have things like ... If I walk down the street in New York, people going, 'Oh my God, I never do this, but would you (expletive) my brother?'"

The "Trainwreck" star recently made light of her crazy celebrity status and ability to generate headlines in a new clip from Season 4 of her show "Inside Amy Schumer."

"Amy, the test came back positive," says a doctor in the sketch. "I'm sorry to tell you this, but you’ve been overexposed ... You’re everywhere, magazines, this Instagram photo of you on the subway wearing a poncho, Amy? ... Go away for a while!”

"Inside Amy Schumer" premieres April 21 on Comedy Central at 10 p.m. E.T.
