How sick are you of hearing that you can have a Victoria's Secret body if you commit to reformer pilates and a paleo diet? Yeah, us too.

That's why we're so glad that model Erin Heatherton was raw and honest in a recent interview with Motto.

Speaking to the title that is published by TIME, Heatherton revealed that she quit the prestigious show after being told to shed some weight.

“My last two Victoria’s Secret shows, I was told I had to lose weight,” Heatherton said. “I look back like, ‘Really?'”

She discussed that at one point she considered not eating at all.

“I was really depressed because I was working so hard and I felt like my body was resisting me,” she says. “And I got to a point where one night I got home from a workout and I remember staring at my food and thinking maybe I should just not eat.”

Heatherton took some time to think and realised she didn't want to be giving the wrong message to women.

“I realised I couldn’t go out into the world -- parading my body and myself in front of all these women who look up to me -- and tell them that this is easy and simple and everyone can do this.”

Victoria's Secret didn’t respond to Motto's our requests for comment.

For what it's worth, we think that Heatherton made the best decision of her career.
