'House Of Cards' Just Threw Some Serious Shade Over David Cameron's Tax Issues

British Prime Minister David Cameron is having to answer some heavy questions about his tax dealings after it emerged his father may be implicated in the mammoth "Panama Papers" leak, but your favourite political drama just threw some serious shade at the whole saga.

Cameron has admitted he once owned a share of his father Ian's offshore trust in Panama, and will likely have to deal with the political fallout of his link to the massive leak of tax data. It's all very dense and technical unless you're a tax expert or accountant, but basically it's all about allegations of companies and the mega-rich limiting their tax liabilities by basing their accounts in different countries.

The Twitter account for Netflix drama 'House of Cards' has now weighed in, and it's pretty shady. The account dug up an old tweet from Cameron from 2015, where he talked up the importance of paying your taxes.

Did you think that old gem was going to avoid the attention of Frank Underwood? No way.

It's not the first time the account has weighed in on the political rumblings of the day. Remember this from March, when Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull laid his cards on the table for a possible double dissolution election?
