Chris Pratt Is Magnificent In First 'Magnificent Seven' Trailer

Sony just hit a bullseye.

If Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen didn't already use the title for their 1994 classic, "The Magnificent Seven" could probably be renamed "How the West Was Fun."

The movie is a remake of the 1960 film of the same name and follows a group of mercenaries trying to protect a desperate town. But from the looks of the first trailer, it really appears to be an excuse for Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt to pretend to be cowboys and blow stuff up. And there's nothing wrong with that.

In the international trailer, Pratt even says, "I've always wanted to blow something up." So yeah, it's not subtle. But it's from the director of "Training Day" and brings Ethan Hawke and Washington together again, so King Kong ain't got nothing on this.

"The Magnificent Seven" stars Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D’Onofrio, Byung-Hun Lee, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Martin Sensmeier. It rides into theaters September 2016.
