That's one way to get out of a speeding ticket.

Kit Harington revealed Friday that he got out of trouble with a cop by telling the officer about his character's fate in the new series of "Game of Thrones."

"One policeman knew," Harington told Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show." The English actor said he was driving back from his parents' house when he was pulled over.

"He said, 'Look, there's two ways we could do this. You can either follow me back to the police station now and I book you in, or you can tell me whether you live in the next series of 'Game of Thrones.'"

Harington told him that Jon Snow was still alive in the next season. The officer replied, "On your way Lord Commander. Keep the speed down this far south of the wall."

The cop wasn't the only person who knew of Snow's fate, however, as Harington also revealed to Fallon that he told certain close family members and friends.
