A new campaign was launched in Queensland on Sunday to help solve the murder of Tiahleigh Palmer who disappeared from Marsden State High School last year.
Almost a week after she went missing, the 12-year-old's body was found on the banks of the Pimpama River north of the Gold Coast on November 5, however her killer has not been found.
Four buses have been plastered with an image of Palmer appealing for the public to report any information about her murder to Crime Stoppers.
Palmer's mother, Cyndi, said she hoped the images would help jog someone's memory in an attempt to gain answers as to what happened to her daughter, according to the Logan Reporter.
"If you know something, and you're afraid to come forward, then write a letter," she reportedly said.
Detective Superintendent David Hutchinson said that while police were still receiving information, the response from the public had slowed down, according to the Logan Reporter.
"We really want to keep the incident in the public eye. We don't want to forget Tiahleigh. We don't want them to forget what happened to her," he reportedly said.
A $250,000 reward is on offer for anyone who comes forward with information that may assist police.
