While most of the country was expressing its solidarity and compassion for the victims of Sunday's Orlando attack and the larger LGBT community, Donald Trump chose instead to show solidarity with himself.

"It makes me long for the days when Trump was just bragging about the size of his penis," Stephen Colbert joked on Tuesday's episode of "The Late Show."

Trump was confused by President Obama's response of unity and legislation reform, suggesting cryptically on Monday that "there's something going on.”

"In his defense, Trump didn't come right out and call the president a secret Muslim, but a lot of people took it that way," Colbert added. Trump, faced with questions about what he meant by the comment, called in to "The Howie Carr Show" and said people will just have to "figure it out.”

Colbert then decided to clear things up for anyone still perplexed by Trump's rhetoric with his own "Figure-It-Out-A-Tron."

The points seemed to connect themselves.

"I see patterns where none exist!" Colbert said.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
