Husband Of Missing Woman Novy Chardon Arrested

The husband of a Gold Coast woman missing for three years has been arrested amid reports he is expected to be charged with her murder.

Mother of two Novy Chardon, 34, went missing on February 6, 2013 after visiting a McDonald's in the Gold Coast suburb of upper Coomera. Her car was found days later and 20kms away at Nerang train station.

On Friday her husband -- named in the press as John Chardon -- was arrested at the Brisbane watch-house.

The ABC reports that two days after Novy Chardon disappeared, her husband travelled to Indonesia with their children for a business trip.

When her returned almost two weeks later, he was interview by police for several hours but released without charge.
