Apparently, there are people who watch old clips of Adolf Hitler ranting and raving and think, "All this needs is a danceable beat."

That seems to be the reasoning behind a mix of electronic dance music and Nazi hate speech called "war trance."

Earlier this month, 29-year-old Edward Perkowski was arrested on Long Island after police seized weapons, bomb-making instructions, drugs, more than $40,000 in cash and a whole mess of Nazi propaganda, as seen in the image above.

But the Daily Beast reported on something not shown in those images. Perkowski was also DJ Ghost of the Reich, a leader of the "war trance" movement which features DJs with names like DJ Nazi Scum, DJ White Pride and DJ Adolf.

Neo-Nazis haven't limited themselves to EDM, either.

"What’s happened is that the White Power Music genre has subdivided into about 20 or 30 subgenres," Southern Poverty Law Center senior fellow Mark Potok told the Daily Beast. "So at this point almost every kind of popular music has a kind of analog in the hate music world."

Check out the Daily Beast's full report -- with music samples -- here.

And if you need an anti-Nazi palate cleanser, give this a listen:
