You’ve got three options when faced with leftover coffee sitting in your coffeemaker. One, reheat it and drink a subpar cup. (But please, don’t do that. Just brew a fresh pot.) Two, dump it. (Super wasteful.) Or three, give that leftover coffee new life by cooking with it. (Ding, ding, ding!)
When coffee is added to recipes it adds the bold flavor we love without any of the unpleasant flavors that occur when it’s reheated for drinking. If you love coffee as much as we love coffee, you know this is the best option for that leftover java. While coffee is a natural addition to just about any dessert, there’s one place where it really shines and that’s at dinner ― in a big pot of chili.
