We've spent decades making cars safer, maybe it's time to redesign ourselves.
It's what's on the inside of Graham that counts.

Friends, meet Graham. Graham can withstand a car crash. And much like a car crash, we can't look away.

He could literally be in a horrific car accident and still be home for dinner.

Just look at his bulbous forehead and his big strong neck, then there's and all those extra pouty nipples on his ribs.

Graham is one of a kind.

Graham is one of a kind.

OK enough. No one can keep this act up long. Graham is hideous. He's seriously repulsive, but the bit about surviving a car crash is true.

Victoria's Transport Accident Commission has created Graham to draw attention to just how fragile the human form is.

Chief executive Joe Calafiore said Graham could survive what humans couldn't.

"Cars have evolved a lot faster than humans and Graham helps us understand why we need to improve every aspect of our roads system to protect ourselves from our own mistakes," Calafiore said.

"We have to accept people will always make mistakes, but modern vehicle safety technology and safe road design can drastically reduce the forces involved when a crash happens, making them more survivable."

Graham will go on tour around Victoria where people will be able to use augmented reality system Google Tango to look beneath his skin and understand how he's cushioned from serious injury in a crash.
