Everyone Is Going Crazy For This Eyeshadow Palette

It’s actually an eyeshadow ‘library’ and there's a waiting list.

It's been a big week in the eyeshadow world. (Yes, there's an 'eyeshadow world'. What times we live in.)

First, Kylie Jenner released her latest makeup offering, Kyshadows. They sold out in a nanosecond of course, but soon after the internet noticed that her palette was suspiciously similar to the one that New Zealand beauty blogger Shaaanxo had released in conjunction with BH cosmetics.

Kylie, what exactly is your goal here. @kyliejenner @shaaanxo #kyshadow #shaaanxopalette #makeup #dupe

Mayhem ensued, so Cosmopolitan conducted an eyeshadow comparison (very scientific) and determined that the palettes were more like sisters, not twins. What a rollercoaster.

Then back home on Australian shores, Bobbi Brown revealed to media that it will be releasing a nude eyeshadow palette library to celebrate the brand's 25th birthday.

Available on the 4th of September, the shiny silver palette features 40 shades of Brown's most iconic colours in a mix of flat, shimmer wash, sparkle and metallic formulas.

"Nude makeup doesn't mean no makeup, it means the shades that are perfect for your skintone. It's been my signature look since I began my career as a makeup artist," said Bobbi Brown in a brand statement.

The flip-book style case boasts 20 shadow cubes each side with a mirrored divider in the middle. Of course nude shadow lovers everywhere are losing their minds over the news and as such, there's already a wait list.

If you want to get your hands on the 25th Anniversary Nude Library, call the Mosman studio in Sydney on (02) 9960 6308. Or, put the date in your diary (and circle it with highlighter and draw some stars and love hearts around it) and head to the website on September 4th.

Oh, and you might want to start saving. The palette will set you back $375. But if you're into makeup, it's worth giving up your morning mocha.
