Fancy gelato and sorbet places, you can keep your upmarket, pimped-out frozen creations.

Streets Ice Cream have confirmed the exciting rumours that they are looking into bringing their iconic ice cream cake ribbon thingy, Viennetta, in stick form to Australia.

Hearsay started earlier in the week after an Instagram post was discovered of a Viennetta on a paddlepop stick, but it was from China. Wah.

Everyone went ballistic, Streets Ice Cream listed, and now they plan on seeing if it has legs (or rather, sticks), in Australia. Yay!

"The reaction to Viennetta on a stick from Australians has been unbelievable," Anthony Toovey, Marketing Director of Streets Ice Cream said.

"It has clearly tapped into the deep love many of us have for this party classic. With so many clamouring to try such an ingenious addition to the range, it would be wrong of us to ignore."

When? We don't know yet. Sorry. We will keep you posted, of course.
