Brendan Dassey has built quite the following since the Netflix docu-series Making A Murderer -- and now some of his supporters are petitioning to send him to Wrestlemania upon his release.

Dassey, now 27, pulled on heartstrings (more than usual) when he complained to his mother of missing WWE's Wrestlemania because of the trial, which has held him behind bars for another decade.

Since a federal judge overturned Dassey's conviction in the death of Teresa Halbach last week, a Change.org petition has emerged, urging WWE CEO Vince McMahon to help Dassey's dream come true and send him to the event in Florida next April.

More than 1,500 people have signed the petition already which states:

"Dassey, now 27, was originally convicted of helping his uncle, Steven Avery, in the murder of Teresa Halbach but a federal judge has ruled that his constitutional rights were violated when he was grilled, without a parent or his lawyer present, at the age of 16. We ask that the WWE and Vince McMahon help make his dream come true and send Brendan Dassey to Wrestlemania."

Last week the federal judge ruled Dassey's constitutional rights were violated when the 16-year-old was not given access to a parent or lawyer during a police interrogation where he gave a full confession at the time.

The state has 90 days to retry the case otherwise Dassey will be released.

Dassey is the nephew of Steven Avery, who was wrongfully convicted of sexual assault and once exonerated, convicted again of another woman's murder.
